Road Angel Group promotes road safety

Local business Road Angel Group, manufacturers of the Gem+ and Bike Trac, have confirmed their attendance at ‘Operation Journey’ – a road safety event organised by Northamptonshire Police, taking place at Silverstone Circuit this Sunday (May 18th).

Admission free, Operation Journey promoted road safety to the local community, but with a fun twist, including the chance to win a ride in a two-seater hypersonic car, a competition to win a Fiat 500, an under 17s scooter experience and numerous activities for younger children.

Based at Silverstone Circuit themselves, Road Angel will have their Gem+ product on show and demonstration throughout the day, with it’s numerous safety features sure to catch the eyes of many. An eAssist feature enables you to connect quickly and easily to an emergency call centre in the case of an accident, while blackspot warnings make you readily aware of Britain’s most dangerous roads.

For motorcyclists, Bike Trac’s ‘Bike Down’ service is sure to be of interest. The clever gadget not only acts as a journey tracker for personal use or incase of theft, but it will also notify your chosen relative or friend if your bike has crashed and you may be in need of assistance.

There will be goody bags, refreshments and competitions on the Road Angel stand as well as further information regarding the products.

For more information on the above head to the Silverstone circuit for Sunday’s event that starts at 10am or visit roadangelgroup.com.
